Natacha Seweryn

I am a film programmer and researcher.

I currently direct the film program of the Bordeaux International Independent Film Festival (FIFIB), where I also run two film project development residencies (Le Clos and l’Atelier du FIFIB). I also work as a fiction consultant for the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) in Geneva. I have previously worked for the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers, Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival, the Cinémathèque de Tanger, as well as Hors Pistes at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

In parallel, I am a Temporary Lecturer and Researcher (ATER) in Film Studies at Université Paris 8, where I teach part-time, after having taught at Université Bordeaux Montaigne from 2022 to 2025. My research focuses on the history and practices of film programming in festivals.

I also have a 200-hour yoga teacher training (Cyril Moreau training, Yoga Alliance certified). I offer classes as part of residencies or at film festivals.
